Treasured
welcome, darlings and thank you for joining me on another PS blogtrain! hope you're enjoying a good start in the new year.
the pixelscrapper gang has once again made sure to supply you with lots of fun scraps to document your treasured moments. focusing this month only on the good, i bring you a lovely set of hand painted winter roses tucked into a delicate artsy theme. perfect backdrop for displaying some of your #numberones!
included is a pair of pre-shadowed curled up frames in .png and layered .psd format, enabling you to edit them any way you like- tweak the shadows, rotate or perhaps tuck some extra layers in-between.
by the time the kit was done, i felt so smitten i just had to use it for this hybrid page! i started by creating a digital layout, which allows me to make all the adjustments needed (such as resizing the elements, cropping papers, adding text, photo editing...) and get an overall preview of a finished page. it was than printed on plain a4 100 g paper using a standard cymk ink-jet printer. nothing fancy, but quality was good enough for me.
there's a special kind of satisfaction seeing my designs on paper, ready for cutting and glueing. so to finish, i jazzed the page up with some stamps, sequinces and a cute little handmade gift tag. as you can see, i don't actually use plastic pockets, i just like the simple and clean look of a pocket-style layout. i glue my scraps in a notebook. so very old school!
alright! if you find these useful, don't be shy to show your work. i'd absolutely love to hear from you!
